WATTBIKE PRO INDOOR TRAINER

The Wattbike Pro is the indoor bike of choice for riders looking to train effectively and improve their performance. The Wattbike took eight years to take shape, with the former head of British Cycling, Peter Keen, acting as a consultant. Now it is used by the worlds top cycling federations including Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, the USA, France and the UCI, as well as athletes from other sports including, athletics, rugby, boxing, motorsports and football.

Where the Wattbike separates itself from the competition is in its ability to accurately measure over 40 performance parameters that help to improve technique and power output. The Wattbike offers 2% accuracy throughout the entire power range, which on this model is 0-3760watts. This medium to high resistance is ideal for interval training or for those looking to push big power numbers.

The Wattbike’s setup is fully customisable enabling riders to replicate their bespoke riding position and the real ride feel will quickly have users forgetting that they are not out on the road. The fan resistance is designed to replicate the feel of a real bike and resistance changes are smooth, predictable and consistent. Adding to this real ride feel is the chain and sprocket system that allows riders to freewheel or stop dead safely.

Various tests can be carried out on the bike to determine training zones using the integrated Wattbike Performance Monitor. The Wattbike can connect to a heart rate monitor (sold separately) via ANT+ for an even deeper level of training accuracy. This also allows connection to ANT+ enabled Garmin devices and other third party devices.

The Wattbike Performance Monitor displays the live Polar View graph. Developed by Wattbike, the Polar View provides feedback on every pedal revolution enabling riders to improve technique and pedalling effectiveness by honing in on dead zones in their pedal stroke.

The Performance Monitor can connect wirelessly to Android or iOS devices via Bluetooth, allowing riders to record and save session data via the Wattbike Hub app where it is stored in the cloud and can be accessed on mobile or desktop for further analysis. This data can then be shared with Strava, Training Peaks and other training apps.

Please note that orders are fulfilled by Wattbike. Delivery within the UK has a standard delivery charge of £60 (inc. VAT) for a boxed bike or £110 (inc. VAT) for an assembled unit. Delivery is expected to take 7 to 10 working days. Once your order is placed, our customer service team will contact you to arrange whether you would like the Wattbike to be delivered assembled or boxed.
